Pratyusha Banerjee
Pratyusha Banerjee (10 August 1991– 1 April 2016) was an Indian television actress.Banerjee first gained recognition in 2010 in the television show BalikaVadhu. This was her first leading role in the television series where she earned her household name “Anandi” On 1 April 2016, Banerjee was found hanging in her Mumbai apartment and according to the postmortem report the cause of death was asphyxia.
Nafisa Joseph
Nafisa Joseph (28 March 1978 – 29 July 2004) was an Indian model and MTV video jockey.
Joseph hanged herself in her flat in Versova on 29 July 2004. She was to marry businessman Gautam Khanduja in a few weeks’ time. According to her parents, Joseph took the step because her marriage was called off. This was due to Joseph having discovered that Khanduja was still married, although having told her he had been divorced for two years. When confronted, Khanduja refused to answer questions about his marital life or produce divorce papers that he had previously claimed he had filed. Instead, press reports at the time mention that he then threatened her with blackmail, probably after she threatened to confront his wife.
Joseph’s parents filed a police report accusing her fiancé of abetting her death, claiming that Khanduja had been desperate to get out of the wedding for some time, and sought his custodial interrogation. In November 2005, the trial against Khanduja was stayed by the Bombay High Court until January 2006. Khanduja claimed that there was no evidence to prove that breaking off the engagement had led to Joseph’s suicide. He pointed out that Joseph’s earlier engagements to Sameer Malhotra and Samir Soni had also ended.
Kuljeet Randhawa
Kuljeet Randhawa (29th January 1976 – 8 February 2006) was an Indian model and actress. The former Gladrags model was known for her portrayal of bold and strong women-centric characters. She is best known for her work in TV series C.A.T.S., Special Squad and Kohinoor.
On 8 February 2006, Kuljeet hanged herself in her apartment in Juhu, a town in western Maharashtra. In a suicide note, Kuljeet stated that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life’s pressures. Shortly before her death, she had completed filming for the movie By Chance. She died at the age of 30.
Viveka Babajee
Viveka Babajee (27 May 1973 – 25 June 2010) was a Mauritian model and actress. She held the titles of Miss Mauritius World 1993 and Miss Mauritius Universe 1994.] She was best known for her involvement in the so-called Manila Film Festival scam of 1994.[5]
Babajee was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment on 25 June 2010 at her Bandra residence in Mumbai. The police reports stated that she committed suicide due to depression.
Jiah Khan
Jiah Khan (born Nafisa Rizvi Khan, 20 February 1988 – 3 June 2013) was a British-American actress and singer who worked in the Indian Film industry. She appeared in three Hindi films from 2007 to 2010.
On 3 June 2013, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her bedroom of her family’s residence at the Sagar Sangeet building in Juhu, Mumbai.
